NOPD arrests two suspects in August shooting on Longfellow Dr.

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

The New Orleans Police Department has made two arrests in an August 2016 homicide on Longfellow Drive.

Police have arrested 25-year-old Nathaniel Brown and 18-year-old Malik Clark in connection with the shooting death of 31-year-old Don Minor.

Minor was found shot to death inside of a home in the 4800 block of Longfellow Dr. just after midnight on August 18.

Police arrested Brown on March 23 in the 2600 block of Pauger Street. Brown is also wanted in Jefferson Parish for illegal carrying of a weapon, felon with a firearm and resisting arrest.

Clark was apprehended by the Special Operations Divisions VOWS Unit Saturday morning in the 2200 block of St. Ann Street.

Both Brown and Clark will be charged with one count of second degree murder.

Police say the case remains under investigation.
