NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

The New Orleans Saints are planning to part ways with longtime backup quarterback Luke McCown, according to Josh Katzenstein from our partners at
NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune.

McCown, 35, has backed up Brees since 2013. He started a game against Carolina in 2015. In that game, he went 31/38 for 310 yards and nearly led the Saints to victory.

The Saints signed quarterback Chase Daniel last week.
