NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans police have a second-degree murder warrant for the man taken from the scene of yesterday's homicide in a Bourbon Street home.
Police said Luis Conde will be taken in and booked when he's released from University Medical Center.
Officers found the man Conde lived with dead inside their French Quarter home. Tuesday morning, police conducting a welfare check brought in a SWAT team and forced their way inside after no one answered the door.
While investigators have not released the name of the victim, the sprawling property where the homicide took place is owned by Cleveland Guillot Jr., according to the Orleans Parish assessor's office.
