LSU stuns Arkansas with nine unanswered runs in road victory

LSU scored five runs in the ninth inning alone, to pull off a shocking 10-8 win at Arkansas. The Tigers trailed at one point 8-1, but scored nine unanswered runs to collect an SEC win.

Greg Deichmann's two-run homer cut the Razorbacks lead to 8-5 in the 8th inning. In the ninth, LSU scored on: A bases loaded hit-by-pitch induced by Cole Freeman, a wild pitch, a two-run throwing error by the Arkansas shortstop Jax Biggers and Robertson scored on an error by the second baseman. Pitcher Hunter Newman sealed the victory with a bases loaded strikeout. 

The comeback win gives LSU an overall record of 21-11, 6-5 in SEC play. LSU finishes their weekend series with Arkansas, Sunday at 1 p.m.

    Today's work was much lighter between the Saints and Chargers was much lighter. They wore no pads only shells and helmets, and they only practiced two hours instead of two and a half like Thursday.
