COVINGTON, LA (WVUE) -

A St. Tammany Parish traffic court judge declined to revoke the bond for a woman accused of causing a fatal accident on the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway.

Olivia Matte, 26, will remain free on bond after more conditions were placed on her release.

Matte is accused of killing James Blackmon while driving drunk on the Causeway. It was her third DWI-related charge in the past nine months.

While her bond was not revoked, he was placed on house arrest with a 6 p.m. curfew.

Matte was earlier ordered to wear a SCRAM bracelet, which detects alcohol consumption.
