NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - No major changes in the forecast with this Good Friday very similar to the last few of days. Beautiful blue skies with highs in the low to mid-80s will once again grace the area through the afternoon. Expect a few more clouds around late this afternoon.
For those running the Crescent City Classic it looks like perfect running weather Saturday morning. Temperatures tomorrow morning will start in the mid to upper 60s and climb into the 70s during the race. By the afternoon it will be a little more humid with a chance of a stray shower. Most of the rain will stay west of I-55 and over western Louisiana.
Easter Sunday isn't quite as nice but it shouldn't be a washout. The chance for scattered afternoon showers and a few storms will increase with the addition of more moisture on southeasterly winds. The rain chances continue into Monday of next week with rain gradually decreasing by mid-week.
Late next week looks warm and humid with lots of sun.
