NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Tuesday's rain chances were in the 20% range and I expect more of the same into the end of the week.
A ridge of high pressure builds back into the area from the northwest as the week goes on. Rain chances will lower to less than 20% each day through the rest of the week. Decreasing rain chances means we will see increasing temperatures. By the end of the week, highs could reach the mid to upper 80's in spots.
Saturday night, a few showers and storms will cross the area as a cold front approaches. Refreshingly cool air will follow with highs only in the low 70's Sunday.
