A sports writer for the Sacramento Bee ranks his favorite NFL cities. The list is something Saints fans can get behind, for more than one reason: Matt Barrows ranked New Orleans as his favorite city with an NFL team.
"Every other American city is your repressed parents,” writes Barrows. “New Orleans is your overweight, fun uncle who has an eyepatch and a fanboat."
Barrows had quite a few other funny things to say about other NFL cities too. For instance, he says you'll only need SPF 2 when in Seattle, a reference to how rainy and overcast it is in the city.
He calls Washington, D.C. a "Beautiful, clean, culturally rich city. But it's no Mar-a-lago," -- a reference to the regular vacations President Trump takes at his Florida resort.
Barrows ranked the home of the Falcons near the bottom of the list. He says Atlanta is "The name of a really good television show and a really mediocre city."
