WATCH LIVE: Godwin family, community members remember grandfather shot and killed on Facebook

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Mourners are gathering in Euclid Saturday to remember the life of Robert L. Godwin, Sr., a 74-year-old grandfather shot to death by a man who posted the killing on Facebook.

Family members, Godwin's friends and hundreds of community members are expected to attend the morning services the River of Life Ministries at 24600 Lakeshore Boulevard.

Services begin with a wake from 10 a.m. The funeral begins at 11 a.m. and will be followed by a procession to Lake View Cemetery at 12316 Euclid Avenue, in Cleveland.

Cleveland police report Godwin died after Steve Stephens drove up East 93rd Street, got out his car, and shot him.

Stephens killed himself Tuesday, two days after the shooting, in Erie after a short police chase.
