NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - After a line of storms pushed by late Saturday night the promised cool down settled in for Sunday afternoon. While the day started with clouds and a little lingering drizzle it became very pleasant with sunshine breaking through and temperatures in the middle 60's. Expect a much cooler night with a strong northwesterly wind and temperatures in the low 50's South Shore and upper 40's north!
Most of next week looks warm, sunny and dry with no rain in the forecast. By the end of next week the summer-like muggies will set in for the beginning of Jazz Fest and we will be watching another approaching front.
