NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A Delgado counselor faces a judge today after he was accused of groping a student in his office.
Police arrested Rashad Harold, an admissions advisor, on campus last month and booked him with misdemeanor sexual battery.
The arrest comes after a former Delgado student told police Harold groped and kissed her during an appointment about her tuition.
She says she went to see Harold to ask for help with her tuition. She told investigators Harold offered to take thousands of dollars off her fee bill.
The woman says after Harold made the change, he propositioned her behind closed doors.
She says she reported the incident to police, but Harold remained on campus until FOX8 started asking questions.
The student says she was shocked as Harold tried to make her pay for the tuition break with sexual favors.
