LAFOURCHE PARISH, LA (WVUE) - A man wanted for murder surrendered to Lafourche Parish deputies Wednesday afternoon.
Investigators booked Brhian Thomas with second degree murder.
He's accused in the shooting death of Deeric Raymond early Monday morning.
Deputies say Thomas and another man got into a fight and Raymond was shot after he tried to intervene.
Deputies who arrived at the scene found Raymond sitting in a car with a gunshot wound to his right side. He died at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center a short time later.
Bond for Thomas has been set at $500,000.
