Saints running back Mark Ingram lost two fumbles against the Bears last Sunday. The Black and Gold still won the game, but Coach Sean Payton said after the contest his team "made it interesting."

Ingram is one of the leaders on the Saints roster. His teammates have faith it won't happen again.

“Mark’s awesome. I mean there is no guy that I’d rather go into a game with, there’s not a guy that I care about more on this team than him, or that I know is as prideful about what he does," said Drew Brees. "He is the heart and soul of this team, and we are all going to have days like that. We pick each other up and we move on. Also, I know the approach he takes each and every day to practice. Even in walk through the guys darn-near full-speed because that’s the way he approaches his game. His preparation and everything remains constant. Guys that are hard on themselves are the ones that care the most."

As if there was any doubt who our No. 1 player on the countdown would be. Drew Brees may be 39, but he's still the straw that stirs the drink for the New Orleans Saints. The best to ever don the Black and Gold, signed a two-year contract this offseason with the club. Extending his career just a couple of more seasons. 2018 could be historic year for Brees. He sits just 1,495 yards away from passing Peyton Manning on the NFL all-time leading passer list. The team he leads, is also a...more>>
