Brother Martin and St. Augustine prevail in pair of Catholic League thrillers

Playoff positioning in Division I is at a premium and the last night of the regular season proved to be vital for a pair of teams.

St. Augustine squeaked past Rummel at The Shrine on Airline Drive, 20-17 on a late score while Brother Martin triumphed over Jesuit in overtime, 23-17.

LHSAA Playoff seeding will be announced Saturday.

FOX 8 Football Friday has highlights and scores from all around South Louisiana, starting at 10:18 p.m. for the first two weeks of the playoffs.
