(WVUE) - Mostly dry and sunny conditions continue through the weekend. Expect unusually warm weather with near record highs. The humidity will also fuel morning fog. Look for overnight temperatures to fall into the 60s on both sides of the lake with afternoon highs climbing into the mid-80s which are near record levels for this time of the year.
The heat wave continues into early next week with some near-record highs possible into Wednesday.
Our air conditioners may finally get a break as a cold front should arrive toward the end of next week. Temperatures will return to normal or even slightly below normal in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
Little, if any rain is expected over the next seven days. Don't forget to roll back the clocks before bed. Daylight savings ends at 2:00 a.m. Sunday.
