NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - It turned out to be a great day with plenty of sunshine and as we head into the evening the warmth will continue with temperatures slowly falling through the 70's after peaking in the low 80's.
The only issue in the forecast over the next couple of days will be the unseasonable warmth and fog possible overnight into early morning. Plenty of moisture will stick around and will lead to some dense areas with high pressure remaining in control and little wind.
Late Wednesday into Thursday morning a frontal boundary will push through triggering some rain, but more importantly ushering back in the cooler and drier air to bring us back into more fall appropriate conditions.
