NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

A tiny home community is opening in New Orleans.

Random Walk Tiny Homes, located inside Pontchartrain Landing Marina and RV Park, offers resort lifestyle options such as a pool, hot tub, onsite restaurant, and a deep water marina.

The Tiny House movement has been featured on HGTV, The New York Magazine, and the Washington Post.

The tiny homes are approximately 400 square feet, and sell for less than $100,000, according to a news release issued by Random Walk Tiny Homes.

The homes feature hardwood floors, granite counter tops, hidden USB plugins, fireplaces, and more.

Those interested in owning a tiny home can also pay them off through a rental program.
