Police seek man accused of beating six-month-old boy

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

New Orleans police are searching for a man accused of beating a six-month-old boy. 

According to police, Kyron V. Espadron, 27, is accused of the beating which caused the child to suffer from internal injuries over the course of several months.

The alleged beating took place Sept. 12 in the 6800 block of Parc Brittany Blvd.

On Sept. 21, he was taken into custody and charged with cruelty to a juvenile. 

Due to the severity of the injuries, detectives obtained another arrest warrant for attempted first-degree murder. 

Police say that the child is expected to make a full recovery.
