GIBSON, LA (WVUE) - Officials have released the name of a suspect who was shot and killed in an officer-involved shooting in Gibson.
Louisiana State Police are investigating the incident that happened Friday afternoon around 4:30 p.m.
According to investigators, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Deputies were called to a home on Fandall Street regarding a domestic dispute. When the deputies arrived at the home, they learned the suspect was armed and had barricaded himself inside of the home.
Investigators say at some time during the incident, the suspect, Terry A. Dubois Jr., 55, of Gibson, was shot by the deputies. Dubois was pronounced dead at the scene.
No Terrebonne Sheriff's Deputies were injured in the shooting.
