Saints sign running back Jonathan Williams

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

The Saints have added running back Jonathan Williams to their roster after signing him off the Broncos' practice squad. Williams, 6'0, 223 pounds, is from the University of Arkansas and spent last year with the Buffalo Bills. He appeared in 11 games and finished with 94 yards and a touchdown.

He was coached in college by current Saints running backs coach, Joel Thomas.

The Saints also officially placed Daniel Lasco on injured reserve.

    De La Salle running back Kendall Collins racked up four rushing touchdowns, assisting in the Cavs 52-14 beatdown of Hannan. Collins finished with 142 yards, before leaving the contest with an injury. The Cavaliers totaled 390 yards on the ground. Quarterback Julien Gums scored on a 76-yard touchdown run.
