NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Plan on sunny skies and a gradual warm up through the rest of the rest of the work week. Patchy morning fog is also a possibility as humidity increases.
Highs will reach the upper 70s to near 80 degrees Friday and Saturday.
A strong cold front is expected to cross the area Saturday night. It could spark up a few showers in the late afternoon or evening, but most of the day will be dry. Cold and windy conditions will return on Sunday with highs only in the low 60s. A few 30s are possible for lows on the North Shore by Monday morning with 40s elsewhere.
Some warming will occur early next week with another front moving through before Thanksgiving.
