NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A split personality weekend is ahead with very warm weather on Saturday and much colder weather on Sunday. Saturday will be dry until the evening hours when a few brief showers will move through the area with the cold front. Rainfall will be very light and should not cause too many problems for anything outdoors.
Clearing skies and a chilly breeze on Sunday with temperatures struggling to get out of the 50s.
It will remain cool on Monday as clouds increase throughout the day. An area of low pressure will form near the coast on Tuesday and could bring a few late day showers. There's a better chance for rain on Wednesday as the low strengthens and moves to the east.
This will set up a breezy and cooler Thanksgiving Day. Right now it looks dry but some clouds are expected with temperatures in the 50s. The rest of the holiday weekend should be dry.
