NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - After a very chilly start, temperatures will only climb to the mid 60s this afternoon.
High clouds will build in later in the day, but you'll still probably want the sunglasses. Overnight, temperatures will fall to the low 40s on the north shore and low 50s south of the lake.
Clouds will continue to build tomorrow and temperatures will be slightly warmer ahead of our next front.
Plan for highs near the 70-degree mark which is around average for this time of year. Rain chances are less than 20% as most shower activity will stay offshore.
Sunny and cool conditions are in store for Thanksgiving Day.
Highs may not get out of the 50s, and morning lows on Black Friday will dip into the 30s again on the north shore and 40s on the south shore. Bundle up if you're going shopping!
A slight warm-up is expected into the weekend with highs in the 60s.
