NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Consumers have a little more than one week left to submit claims in a lawsuit that will send nearly $45 million in refunds to electronics customers.
Several battery makers have agreed to settle a lawsuit, which accused them of conspiring to fix prices of lithium ion batteries.
The batteries power popular products. Some of those products include laptops, tablets, phones, cameras and power tools.
Since the suit claims the price-fixing began as far back as the year 2000, millions of people may be able to submit multiple claims.
The deadline to submit a claim is November 29. Click here to submit one.
