Cold front moving through the area, cooler temperatures expected on Thanksgiving

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Expect dry and cool conditions all the way through the holiday weekend.

Highs today will reach the mid 60s with cloudy skies clearing by lunchtime as a front moves through. Waking up tomorrow and Friday mornings, temperatures will be in the mid 30s on the north shore and mid 40s south of the lake. A freeze is not anticipated for the north shore, but some frost is possible.

Highs on Thanksgiving Day will struggle to get out of the 50s, but then plan on a slight warm up through Saturday. Another dry front arrives Sunday to cool us down again.
