NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Expect dry and cool conditions all the way through the holiday weekend.
Highs today will stay in the 50s most of the day, with some spots briefly climbing into the low 60s. Expect lots of sunshine! Clear skies will take us into tonight, and tomorrow morning will be chilly again with 30s north and west of the lake and 40s on the South Shore.
Temperatures will get into the 60s for highs Friday and low 70s for highs Saturday. There will be a few passing clouds on Saturday as another weak cold front moves across the area. This will reinforce the seasonably cool and dry weather into Sunday.
A slight warming trend is expected next week. Another cold front may bring a stray shower to round out the month of November by Wednesday. Otherwise, it appears we are heading for our driest November on record.
