BOUTTE, LA (WVUE) - Pooka Williams went for over 300 yards rushing in his third straight game, helping Hahnville beat Covington 38-27. Williams racked up 304 yards rushing on 29 carries with two touchdowns. The Tigers quarterback Jhaquan Jackson accounted for the other three touchdowns all on the ground.
Covington's Devin Brumfield also produced a strong night rushing for Covington, going for 268 yards and four touchdowns.
Next week Hahnville travels to Lafayette to meet up with Acadiana in the state semifinals.
