HOUMA, LA (WVUE) -

Two men armed with a gun robbed an adult novelty store in Terrebonne Parish Sunday night.

Deputies said it happened Sunday around 8:20 p.m. at the Conxxxions Adult Store in Houma.

Upon arrival at this location the suspects had already left the scene, officers said.

According to investigators, two black male suspects, who appeared to be in their twenties, entered the store and one of them was armed with a semi-auto handgun. The armed suspect pointed the gun at the store clerk and demanded that she hand over the money.

The clerk complied and handed over an undetermined amount of money from the cash register. There was a customer inside of the store who was also robbed of $20.00.

After the robbery, the suspects left the store on foot running towards Alma St.

The first suspect was described as a black male who was approx. 5’10”-6’ tall with a medium build and was wearing a gray hoodie pulled over his head with black pants, armed with a handgun.

The second suspect was described as a black male who was shorter than the first suspect and was wearing a dark-colored hoodie pulled over his head, black pants with a red bandana covering the lower part of his face.

Acadian Ambulance treated the store clerk on scene for a panic attack before transporting her to a local hospital where she was treated and released.

Anyone with information concerning this armed robbery is encouraged to call the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, (985)876-2500, or Crime Stoppers, 1(800)743-7433, and may become eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000.
