Karr beats Easton 20-12, Cougars going for back-to-back state titles

ALGIERS, LA (WVUE) -

For the second time this season, Karr beat Easton, but the second edition gave the Cougars a trip to the state title game. In the regular season Karr was victorious 40-6, this time around, 20-12 your final score.

The Cougars will be going for back-to-back state titles, and their fourth state championship, after winning titles in 1993, 2012 and 2016.

Ronnie Jackson scored two rushing touchdowns for Karr. Skylar Perry connected with Anthony Spurlock on the other score.

Karr will face Lakeshore in the Class 4A final. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. Saturday, December 9th.
