(WVUE) - Anthony Davis was forced to leave Friday's 114-108 loss against the Utah Jazz with a groin injury. Davis took an awkward step after trying to box out an opponent. Before leaving the contest, Davis contributed 19 points and 10 rebounds in 32 minutes of work.
According to our partners at Nola.com/Times-Picayune, Pels Coach Alvin Gentry told reporters after the game that Davis' injury is a strained left groin. He would undergo an MRI on Saturday. Davis is unlikely to play Saturday night against the Trailblazers.
