Juan's World: Loss in Atlanta Doesn't Change Much for Saints

(WVUE) -

Welcome in to Juan's World and what a game in Atlanta last night. What a performance put together by a very depleted Saints team. Alvin Kamara, AJ Klein, Trey Hendrickson, Senio Kelemete.T he list seems to go on and on of guys that left this game early with an injury. Yet, when the game was on the line in the final minutes, there were the Saints. In position to pull out a win or at least force overtime with a field goal.

It didn't go the Saints way because Drew Brees made one bad throw. Funny thing, back in the days of Jimmy Graham and Marques Colston, that throw was usually turned into a touchdown by the Saints. But not with Josh Hill.

On a night when the Saints had far too many penalties that resulted in a first down, they still had a chance to win.

On a night when they suffered their first division loss of the season, the Saints are still in the drivers seat with everything to play for. Division crown, a first round playoff home game, and maybe more are still within reach. So aside from some feelings getting hurt tonight, not much has changed from the Saints perspective.

They're still the best team in the NFC South. Now, with three games left to play, two of them at home, we just need them to play like it.

And I'm gonna go out on a limb and say, they will.

Juan's World, Juan's World...Excellent!!!
