Four to six inches of snow was recorded in parts of Southeast Louisiana on Friday, according to forecasters.

Snow falls along Hwy. 25 south of Franklinton, LA

Some of the heaviest snow fell in northern parts of St. Tammany, Tangipahoa and Washington Parishes.

Just the right mix of cold and moisture turned forests, pastures, and for that matter, front yards in wonderlands and brought an early Christmas feel to the area.
