(WVUE) - Entergy crews have restored power for hundreds of customers, Sunday following Friday's wintry weather that moved in across the area.
Entergy says that additional crews were brought in to help restore power.
As of 7:30 p.m. Sunday, over 1,000 customers in Tangipahoa Parish were without power, according to Entergy 's website.
Around 10:15 p.m. that number dropped to just over 550.
An Entergy spokesperson says most of the parish should be restored Sunday night, with the exception of 500 customers in parts of Amite that were hit the hardest.
