NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - A cold front crossing the area this morning will bring a northwesterly wind and a cooler day overall. Highs will only climb to the upper 50s and it will remain sunny.
Overnight lows will be chilly with some light freezes north and west of the lake tomorrow morning.
The metro area is expected to stay above the freezing mark, only dipping to the upper 30s. Cover sensitive plants and bring pets inside tonight!
We will stay sunny and dry all week. The next cold front will move through on Thursday night, and by Saturday morning, we could see a repeat of the light freeze conditions north and west of the Lake.
By late in the weekend, some moisture may return and bring a chance for a few showers with yet another front.
