NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Plan for lots of sun and seasonable high temperatures in the 60s today and tomorrow. A stronger cold front will arrive Thursday night and highs will return to the 50s on Friday with a chilly breeze.
The next major change will happen over the weekend. A strong area of low pressure is expected to develop and move across our area bringing a good chance for rain and storms on Sunday.
The timing of the system is still uncertain. It's possible a good part of the day may be dry if the system moves through early, but the American model would have you believe rain chances could last into the early part of next week. Stay tuned for further updates!
