NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Clouds will be on the increase over the next day or so. A fairly strong cold front arrives Friday with lots of clouds and maybe some sprinkles especially near the coast. The combination of colder air and clouds during the day mean highs may not reach 50 degrees.
By Saturday low pressure will form over Texas and move in our direction. That will keep clouds in the area and temperatures back on the rise. The disturbance is expected to reach us on Sunday with a good chance for rain and a few storms. It now appears this disturbance will stall over the area keeping it wet into Tuesday.
A stronger front should dry us out by midweek.
