NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A few showers are around this morning as our cold front continues to cross the area.
The combination of colder air following the front and clouds during the day will keep afternoon temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s.
Tomorrow, a low pressure will form over Texas and move in our direction. That will keep clouds in the area and put temperatures back on the rise. The disturbance is expected to reach us on Sunday with a good chance of rain and some storms. A few of those storms could produce heavy rain, strong winds, or an isolated spin-up.
Periods of rain will likely continue through the early part of next week with a stronger front arriving to start drying us out by midweek.
