THIBODAUX, LA (WVUE) - The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Department is investigating a Friday morning shooting in Thibodaux.
According to Sheriff Craig Webre, one man was injured after suffering from a gunshot wound to the face.
Detectives were dispatched to the scene in the 2000 block of St. Mary Street around 3:39 a.m., according to the report.
Webre said the victim was initially transported to Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, but he was transferred to University Hospital in New Orleans.
