The Saints clinched their first playoff berth since 2013, but they also have bigger goals in mind. The NFC South title is the next "big thing" the Saints can achieve.

The Saints clinched a postseason spot beating Atlanta, 23-13. They could've clinched NFC South with A Bucs win over Carolina, but the Panthers escaped with a 22-19 triumph. The Saints will win a division title if they beat Tampa next week, or a Carolina loss.

"That's kind of further down the road right now. We're looking at how to win this division. Sounded like we were close to. We're going to have to enjoy this for the next 24-48 hours, the holidays here, and then get refocused like we do. Get ready to play another football game," said Saints Head Coach Sean Payton.

It's an ending that's still hard to comprehend. But lost in the aftermath of the Saints chaotic loss to the vikings Sunday was the fact that the Vikings still had to kick the extra point.
