NOPD searching for missing man

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Department is seeking information to assist in locating a man reported as missing.

The mother of Cornell Luckett, 26, told officers that she last spoke to her son on Christmas Day at a group home where he was staying in the 1300 block of South Genois Street.

According to the report, on Friday Luckett was seen by other residents packing his suitcase with all of his personal belongings and leaving the home.

Luckett has not been seen or heard from since this time.

Luckett is described as standing about 5'7" and weighing approximately 205-210 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black shorts, black shoes and a black baseball cap. A photo of Luckett is included with this release.
