Some downtown hotels losing guests due to water problem

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Because of water pressure problems, several downtown hotels have either low or no water pressure, and it's forcing guests to check out.

One of them was Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser, who called the situation "ridiculous."

Some guests at the Sheraton said they were moving to another hotel or were going to cut their trip short. That includes a big conference for the Police Jury Association of Louisiana. The president of that group said they had 500 rooms booked as well as bands and caterers that they're now going to have to cancel.
