(WVUE) -

Less than six months after turning in his purple and gold tiger stripes at LSU, Lindsey Scott is set to be a Missouri Tiger. The former Zachary High quarterback announced his intentions to sign with Missouri Monday with a post on Twitter.

The 19-year-old spent the fall of 2017 at East Mississippi Community College where he won a national championship. In his post Monday, he thanked the Tulane coaching staff, among others, and divulged that the Green Wave were "the reason this decision was so tough."

National Signing Day is Wednesday, February 7th. LSU does not face Missouri in 2018.

At No. 3 is a player long respected in New Orleans, but finally starting to get his due around the NFL last year. Cam Jordan is one the best edge defenders in all of football, and last year was his absolute best. Long deserving, Jordan was finally named a first team All-Pro.  He finished the season with a career-high 13 sacks. Well in the prime of his career. Jordan is showing no signs of slowing down, and more dominance is expected in 2018. Copyright 2018 WVUE. All right...more>>
