THIBODAUX, LA (WVUE) -

Lafourche Parish deputies arrested a man accused of stealing a car in Thibodaux.

Thibodaux Police said Quoizel Jones, 32, was arrested and booked with DWI and traffic violations.

Sunday evening, police believe Jones stole a car in the 1400 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard in Thibodaux.

About the same time Thibodaux police got that call, Lafourche Parish deputies had the stolen car pulled over at  Highway 3185 and Talbot Avenue.

Deputies say they stopped the car after Jones passed the deputy and flashed his bright lights at him.

Jones is being held at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center on a $21,650 bond.

Thibodaux Police said Jones' girlfriend lives in the same apartment complex where the car was stolen and was there at the time of the theft.
