State agents raid four more strip clubs in French Quarter

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - State agents raided four more French Quarter strip clubs.

The latest clubs hit with liquor license suspensions last night include Rick's Cabaret, Larry Flynt's Hustler Barely Legal, Stilettos and a male strip club called Hunk Oasis.

The paper says a state official declined to say *why" the clubs were cited but described the action as part of an "ongoing investigation."

This weekend, the state also pulled liquor licenses from Rick's Sporting Saloon, Dixie Divas, Temptations and Scores.

The second round of suspensions was issued as result of a joint investigation by the Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control and the New Orleans Police Department.  This investigation has uncovered multiple incidents of prostitution, lewd acts and in some cases, illegal drug activity within clubs.

The licenses were pulled in an emergency suspension order.
