NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Proteus and the Krewe of Orpheus will hit the uptown route Monday.
Proteus will start at 5:15 p.m. from Magazine and Napoleon. It will head down St. Charles around Lee Circle and stop on Canal and Chartres Streets. Their most collectible throw this year is the LED flambeaux.
Orpheus will start for 6 p.m. from Tchoupitoulas and Napoleon. It will then go down St. Charles to Canal Street, turn on Tchoupitoulas and proceed into the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. This year, the krewe has 38 floats. Members will throw Pete Fountain doubloons as one of their many throws.
In Houma, Cleopatra starts for 6 p.m.
