(WVUE) - Even though he was selected as an All-Star starter, DeMarcus Cousins could not suit up for Team LeBron and participate in Sunday's 2018 NBA All Star Game in Los Angeles after rupturing his left Achilles tendon in late January.
But there was a Cousins jersey sighting on the floor of the Staples Center Sunday, courtesy of New Orleans Pelican teammate and fellow All-Star Anthony Davis.
Davis, who was a starter, wore Cousins' No. 0 jersey to honor his fallen teammate at the beginning of the game.
Davis would later change into his No. 23 jersey.
