(WVUE) - On this edition of FFF we focus on lady luck in the NFL Draft, American Christian Pulisic is one of the top teenage soccer players in the world, and a review of restaurant Carrollton Market.
Right after the 2017 NFL Draft it was well documented the Saints wanted former Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster. The Niners swooped in the pick before the Black and Gold and took Foster.
The Saints instead drafted Ryan Ramczyk out of Wisconsin. I think that worked out for Sean Payton after 'missing' on Foster.
This offseason Foster has been arrested not once, but twice, and now his future with the Niners is in limbo.
Ramczyk started 16 games for the Who-Dats. They wanted Foster, but got Ramczyk. Guess sometimes you're just lucky.
This summer will no doubt not be the same without the United States in the World Cup. No fear my friends, USA's future is in good hands with Christian Pulisic. Borussia Dortmund's 19-year-old American winger is ranked the fourth best teenage prospect in European soccer.
He stars in Germany right now, but he could be playing for one of the top teams in England very soon. Expect a ton more stories on Pulisic in the coming years.
Esteemed food critic Brett Anderson releases his top 10 restaurants every year with much acclaim. First thing I do is figure out how many I've eaten at, where I need to stop next.
I recently hit one of the ten, Carrollton Market for the first time, and it was fantastic.
It's not a big space, possesses limited seating, which makes for a very relaxing atmosphere. No big group conversations disrupting your dinner, just get to focus on the food and the atmosphere.
Oh and that food was worth the wait. The oysters Goodenough, one word, epic. The dish consist of flash-fried Gulf oysters, Benton's bacon, creamed leeks, and sauce béarnaise. For the main course, I tried the steak frites and the pan-roasted sea scallops. Can't miss with either.
