Overtime goal pushes Jesuit past St. Paul's in boys DI Soccer Championship Game

(WVUE) - In a battle between two teams from the New Orleans metro area, Jesuit got a late goal in double overtime from Gabe Gordon, to top St. Paul's, Saturday, securing the Division I boys State Championship.

The top-seeded Wolves appeared to be on their way to a fifth-consecutive state championship following a Justin Savoie goal on a penalty kick, in the first half.

But the 15th-seeded Blue Jays would answer with less than a minute to go in the match as Chris Tadros rocketed the ball past the St. Paul's goalkeeper, tying the game.
