Tulane wanted no part of a sweep by Cal State Fullerton, and with an assist from the French Quarter, the Wave got a Sunday victory 9-3.

Fullerton held out seven players, including four starters, after they missed curfew on Saturday night.

Tulane (6-5) exploded for six runs in the fourth inning, and never looked back in the contest. Grant Mathews knocked in two runners to get the frame going, and Sal Gozzo hit a solo blast in the later innings to extend the lead.
