We're off to a chilly start on this Thursday morning, and highs will only climb into the mid-60s this afternoon. Chilly temperatures and patchy frost will be possible north of the Lake and in the River and Bayou parishes again tomorrow morning.
You can plan on sunny and dry skies through the end of the work week. Changes will arrive this weekend as a low-pressure system organizes around our region. The timing and intensity of storms is still uncertain but there will be a chance for scattered showers and a few storms Saturday and Sunday.
More cool and dry air will arrive by early next week with lots of sunshine. Overnight lows will get chilly once again and we will have to be on the lookout for a late season freeze by the end of next week for the North Shore.
